Job Title: COM:POST Driver

COM:POST is revolutionising floral waste collection by turning green waste into high-quality compost. Unlike typical waste collection jobs, this role is fulfilling, active, and part of an environmentally positive mission. Our drivers have built a great reputation with our customers, and we’re looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for sustainability, great service, and keeping fit while working.
About the Role
As a COM:POST driver, you’ll take responsibility for collecting bags of green waste from a number of florists across London and transporting them to our composting site. This is a hands-on, active role that keeps you engaged while being part of an exciting, fast-growing company.
Shifts typically last between 6-8 hours door to door, with most of our drivers working from 5am to 12pm. You’ll be out on the road, working independently but as a key part of our friendly and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and transport green waste from COM:POST customers across London
Drive a COM:POST van safely and efficiently
Ensure timely collections and deliveries
Perform basic vehicle safety checks and report any issues
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with florists
Keep accurate records of collections and deliveries
What We’re Looking For
A full UK driving licence
Previous driving experience preferred, but not essential
A good level of physical fitness – this role involves lifting and moving bags
Knowledge of London/Surrey routes and traffic regulations
Reliability, punctuality, and a flexible attitude
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Comfortable working early mornings
