Composting in Action.

Tuesday 24th March 2026

From 9.00am

What to Expect

Florists are invited to join us for an exclusive visit to our composting partner, Shorts Group, site in Berkshire - the heart of our closed-loop system.

This is a chance to walk the journey of floral green waste from collection to high-quality compost, and to see how together our commitment to sustainability is creating real impact.

Why does this matter?

Clarity & Confidence - this is where the floral waste actually goes.

Understanding the Science - learning the process behind commercial composting.

Reinforcing Sustainability Credentials - for your clients and venues.

The Future of Floristry - Being part of the UK’s move toward circular floristry.

See the Journey

An industry first: this visit will bring florists and businesses within the floristry industry to see behind the scenes of the COM:POST composting process.

The complete loop!

What to expect.

Meet. Connect. Learn. Get Inspired.

A half-day visit to our composting partner’s site, giving you the chance to see how the green waste is transformed, meet the team and ask questions. Two groups will run on the day to keep the tour focussed and relaxed.

Meeting Point: New Covent Garden Market (exact location will be sent out nearer the day).

On Registration you will be asked which time you prefer, your Check-In time will be confirmed by Monday 2nd March 2026. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but no initial guarantee is made.
