COM:POST is transforming how the floristry industry manages waste — collecting floral green waste and turning it into high-quality compost that goes back into UK growing. As we expand our regional operations, we’re looking for a full-time driver to support our growing customer base across the South West and South East.

This is not a typical driving job. It’s active, early-morning work with a clear purpose, predictable routes, and the opportunity to be part of a business doing things properly.

The Role

As a Green Waste Logistics Driver, you’ll collect compostable floral waste from florists across your region and transport it to our composting sites. You’ll work independently on planned routes, using a COM:POST van, and play a key role in keeping our closed-loop system running smoothly.

Shifts are early mornings, with most routes completed by lunchtime.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and transport floral green waste from COM:POST customers

  • Drive a COM:POST van safely and efficiently

  • Complete collections to schedule and agreed routes

  • Carry out basic vehicle safety checks

  • Keep the vehicle clean and well-presented

  • Provide friendly, professional service to customers

  • Accurately record collections and report any issues

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Comfortable with physical work (lifting and moving bags)

  • Reliable, punctual, and well organised

  • Happy working independently

  • Comfortable with early starts (typically from 5am)

  • Commercial driving experience helpful but not essential

 

What You’ll Get

  • Salary: £35,000 per year, paid monthly

  • Holiday: 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)

  • Hours: 4 – 5 days a week. Early morning shifts, typically 5:00am–12:00pm (6–8 hours)
