Our drivers are the face of COM:POST. They’re trusted by some of London’s leading florists, and they play a vital role in keeping our closed-loop system running smoothly.

The Role

As a Green Waste Logistics Driver, you’ll be responsible for collecting compostable floral waste from florists across London and transporting it to our composting sites. You’ll work independently on well-planned routes, using a COM:POST van, and finish most shifts by midday.

This is a physically active role, ideal for someone who enjoys early starts, being on the move, and working outdoors rather than sitting behind a desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and transport floral green waste from COM:POST customers

• Drive a COM:POST van safely and efficiently across London

• Complete collections to schedule and planned routes

• Carry out basic vehicle safety checks

• Keep the vehicle clean and well-presented

• Provide friendly, professional service to our florist customers

• Accurately record collections and report any issues

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence

• Comfortable with physical work (lifting and moving bags)

• Reliable, punctual, and well organised

• Happy working independently

• Able to work early mornings (typically from 5am)

• Commercial driving experience helpful but not essential

The COM:POST Package

• Salary: £35,000 pro rata, paid monthly

• Holiday: 28 days holiday per year, pro rata (including bank holidays)

• Working pattern: Two guaranteed days per week, with optional additional shifts as available

• Hours: Early morning shifts, typically 5:00am–12:00pm (6–8 hours door to door)

• Company van provided for all shifts

• Work mobile phone provided

• Work uniform provided, including branded kit and PPE

• Consistent routes and familiar customers

• Early finishes – most shifts complete by lunchtime
